Key Responsibilities:

• Perform assessments of dialysis patients before, during, and after treatment, monitoring vital signs, fluid status, and overall condition.
• Administer dialysis treatments according to prescribed protocols, including hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Educate patients and their families about kidney disease, dialysis treatment, dietary restrictions, and medication management to promote self-care and adherence to treatment plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's needs, addressing both medical and psychosocial aspects of care.
• Monitor and document patient responses to dialysis treatment, including any adverse reactions or complications, and communicate findings to healthcare providers as needed.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients undergoing dialysis, fostering a positive and compassionate environment during their sessions.

Qualifications:

• Active Wyoming Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as an RN in a dialysis setting preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
